Fundraiser for Striking Actors SAG-AFTRA Foundation

Cheers to supporting union actors in Chicago as their strike forges ahead.

In a show of solidarity with Chicago’s acting community, The Beer Temple announces a fundraising campaign this month aimed at providing financial support to SAG-AFTRA members currently striking for fair contracts.

Starting this Saturday, October 7th, The Beer Temple will be tapping kegs of Fair State Brewing Cooperative’s Union Lager and donating $2 of every beer poured on that day to The SAG-AFTRA Foundation. The Beer Temple will also be donating $1 from each Union Lager served after this Saturday’s promotion and $1 of each 6-pack of Union Lager sold in their bottle shop through the month of October.

Chicago, home to many actors working in film and television today, has a rich history of contributing to the world of entertainment. The Beer Temple recognizes the contributions of these actors and aims to support them during their time of need as they fight for fair compensation.
