Motion Graphics Designer Brian Stevens joins Hootenanny

It’s always a pleasure to announce new hires here in Chicago’s advertising and commercial production community. Screen is thrilled to share that Chicago post house Hootenanny’s design department is growing with the addition of Brian Stevens.

Brian is a motion designer capable in a variety of design and animation styles, including 2D, 3D and hand-drawn.  He is well-trained in fine arts and has been tinkering with animation since he can remember, making designs and characters come alive.

My whole life, I’ve been motivated to craft moments that are delightful, immersive and expressive,” Brian explains of his passion for animation.

Prior to joining Hootenanny, Brian worked as a designer for an educational game company, where his responsibilities included animation, graphics work, UI/UX and accessibility. He also took on various motion design projects as a freelancer.

Brian is excited for what’s to come, stating, It’s been awesome getting to know all these kind humans here at Hootenanny, and I’m very excited about all our future collaborations.”

In the short few months since Brian has been at Hootenanny, his unique skillset has already proven useful in providing effective motion design solutions for brands like Pepsi and McDonald’s.

Brian joins Hootenanny’s Motion Design Department alongside editor Sean Halvorsen. They are produced by Executive Producer Don Avila and Producer Samm Smith.
