What to Expect from New Episodes of ‘Chicago PD,’ ‘Chicago Fire,’ and ‘Chicago Med’
The Dick Wolf triumvirate of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD finally returned from their winter break on January 5th. And they returned with a roar, dominating the Wednesday night ratings and satisfying their loyal fan base across the board. Let’s take a look at the new episodes on tap for this Wednesday…
As for those ratings, Deadline reported Chicago Fire was the highest-rated and most-watched program of Wednesday primetime with 6.98 million viewers. Also up from the latest episode, Chicago Fire bested The Conners, Next Level Chef and Batwoman. Chicago Med won the 8 p.m. hour earning a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demo and 6.75 million viewers. Finally, Chicago P.D. dominated the 10 p.m. Central hour with 5.91 million viewers.
And clearly #OneChicago fans were enjoying the fresh new episodes. SCREEN’s Twitter poll tallied 93.1% of voters giving the three premieres and overall grade of ‘A’ or ‘B.’ Here’s a look at the complete poll results on our Twitter.

Chicago Med Opens the Night at 7 p.m. Central
“The Things We Left Behind” is the title of Episode 11 of Chicago Med, set to debut Wednesday, January 12th, at 7 p.m. Central, to kick off the highly popular #OneChicago lineup. Here’s the official synopsis: Crockett and Blake clash with Randall when a famous alcoholic football player needs a liver transplant. Dylan is reluctantly reunited with old friends when their son breaks his arm. Stevie and Charles work together when a patient falls ill after back-alley plastic surgery.

New Episode for Ratings King Chicago Fire
Here’s the official synopsis for Wednesday night’s new episode of Chicago Fire at 8 p.m. Central, “Fog of War”: On a call with Station 37, a firefighter is struck by a power line and decides to lash out after her injury. Brett is visited by Scott and Amelia. Violet gets a surprise envelope. The rest of Firehouse 51 enters a contest.
