‘The Bear’ Renewed For Season 5 By FX

Great news for Chicago as we head into the second half of 2025. The Bear will be back for Season 5. On the heels of its fourth-season premiere last week, FX has picked up a fifth season of the Emmy-winning comedy series starring Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Season Five is slated to premiere in 2026.

“The Bear continues to be a fan favorite worldwide and their response to this season — as seen through incredibly high viewership — has been as spectacular as any of its previous seasons,” said FX Chairman John Landgraf. “Year-in and year-out, Chris Storer, the producers, cast and crew make The Bear one of the best shows on television, and we are excited that they will continue to tell this magnificent story.”

“The Bear” was created by Christopher Storer, who serves as Executive Producer alongside Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson and Hiro Murai. Courtney Storer serves as a Co-Executive Producer and Culinary Producer. Chicago’s Carrie Holt de Lama is a Co-Producer on the series and casting is led by Chicago’s PR Casting, which nabbed the Emmy for last season, alongside fellow casting director Jeanie Bacharach.

While you await the new season in 2026, the first four seasons of “The Bear” are now streaming on Hulu.
