‘The Bear’ Announces June 22 Premiere Date, Serves Up New Poster

To Jeremy Allen White and his superb cast and crew… welcome back. And to you and yours… it’s time to mark your calendar. FX has announced that The Bear‘s highly anticipated Season Two will premiere on June 22nd. And they unveiled a brand-new poster for the season as an additional appetizer.

Filming of Season Two throughout Chicago just wrapped on April 25th, so the speedy turnaround to the season premiere is particularly impressive. Here’s a look at the legendary locations in the mix this season, and more from production.

Starring Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, The Bear follows a young, classically trained chef who returns home to Chicago to run his family’s Italian beef shop after his brother dies by suicide. The series also stars Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Edwin Lee Gibson, Abby Elliott, Corey Hendrix, Matty Matheson, Richard Esteras and Jose M. Cervantes.

A Look at the New Menu for Season Two

Here is another reason for fans to get excited for Season Two: SCREEN posted news earlier this month that Better Call Saul star and Illinois native Bob Odenkirk has joined the cast of The Bear for Season Two.

And if that wasn’t enough good news, the new season has added more show to the menu for its enthusiastic fans. The Bear Season Two will be ten episodes long, two more than the first, and will focus on the new restaurant’s opening.
