Special Benefit Screening of ‘Ghostlight’ For Rivendell’s 30th Anniversary Season
Rivendell Theatre Ensemble is turning 30! To celebrate and help them raise funds to keep up their incredible work, Elevated Films is co-hosting a one-night-only benefit screening of the film ‘Ghostlight’, featuring a post-show Q&A with the filmmakers and cast.
‘Ghostlight’ stars Rivendell Founders Tara Mallen and Keith Kupferer and has a 99% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes! If you haven’t seen it yet or are excited to see it again, now is your chance to take part in a very special night.
“We are such huge fans of this movie, directed by Kelly O’Sullivan and Elevated Films board member Alex Thompson, and filmed in the Chicago area,” said the Elevated Films team. “One of the best things about the Chicago film community is that we are completely spoiled by a wealth of great actors, which wouldn’t be possible without the opportunities they find at theatre ensembles like Rivendell, who constantly bring bold, original, and impactful stories to the stage, with a dedication to women’s stories and also to providing employment for women in the theatre arts.”
