PurposeBuilt Brands Awards Hanson Dodge Two New Assignments
Milwaukee-based independent agency Hanson Dodge (HD) has been awarded two new assignments from its existing PurposeBuilt Brands (PBB) client. PurposeBuilt Brands is a global maker of best-in-class specialty cleaning and pest control products.
The agency has been named to handle the 30 Seconds Cleaners line of fast-acting outdoor cleaning products along with the Harris cleaning and pest control brand. Both brands were awarded to the agency without a review. HD currently handles Green Gobbler plumbing care and Weiman surface cleaners.
“Winning is a habit, and the work Hanson Dodge has delivered for our core brands has set a high bar. By expanding our partnership to include 30 Seconds and Harris, we are doubling down on a proven collaborative model. We trust HD to capture the same momentum and strategic depth for these new assignments as we continue to elevate the PurposeBuilt Brands portfolio in the eyes of our consumers,” said Jon Bellante, Chief Marketing Officer, PurposeBuilt Brands.
HD will be responsible for creative and strategic development for each brand. Both 30 Seconds Cleaners and Harris cleaning and pest control were recently acquired by PurposeBuilt Brands (2021 and 2024, respectively).
“I’ve said it before and am thrilled to say it again: winning new business from an existing client is one of the greatest compliments an agency partner can receive,” commented Stacie Boney, President of Hanson Dodge. “I thank PBB for the confidence they have shown in us and look forward to attacking these new brand challenges with the same zeal and vigor we have brought to our previous assignments. Together, PBB and HD will continue to make great leaps.”
The agency has been in the news of late: it recently hired Chad Verly to assume the new role of Group Creative Director to help handle its increased volume of work. This followed Mike Roe joining as HD’s first-ever Chief Creative Officer last year. Other new business wins over the past 12 months include the launch of the new fireside MARKET convenience store retail outlet from Potawatomi Ventures, the retention of the Utah Office of Tourism digital services for the next five years, BtoB assignments from Baxter Planning and GreyOrange, and campaign development for the American Camp Association (ACA).
