Post-Finale Exclusive with HBO Series ‘Somebody Somewhere’ Creators Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen

Fans are buzzing about the season finale, and the dynamic duo behind the show is here to talk all about it. The critically acclaimed HBO Original comedy series Somebody Somewhere, starring and executive produced by comedian Bridget Everett, wrapped up its seven-episode second season, and was just renewed for Season Three. We are thrilled to have series creators and executive producers Paul Thureen and Hannah Bos stop by today to chat with SCREEN’s Genna Mark.

Chicago TV diehards and/or trivia buffs know Somebody Somewhere filmed last summer in the Illinois towns of Lockport, Lemont, and Naperville. Season Two began rolling cameras last May and wrapped in July.

The Hollywood Reporter hailed Somebody Somewhere as “quietly revelatory,” while IndieWire called it “a must-see heartfelt delight.” The New York Times praised Everett’s performance as “subtle and stunning,” with Vogue calling her “sensational.”
