20th Century Studios Pilot ‘Deli Boys’ Filming in Chicago This Month

Could there be another hit series on the horizon for Chicago? It all begins with the pilot, and 20th Century Studios (formerly 20th Century Fox until a couple of years ago) is bringing one to town this month. Sources tell SCREEN the pilot for Deli Boys will begin filming on October 24th and will film for six to eight days. Here is everything we know so far…

Sources tell SCREEN Deli Boys centers on the story of two brothers carrying on the legacy of “Baba,” their deceased but ever-present father. Lead and supporting cast announcements are pending.

Chicago P.D. #OneChicago Veteran Leads the Production Team

Who is directing the project? Where in the Chicagoland area will the team be filming? These are questions we expect to have answered in the weeks ahead. One key fact we can confirm is that Bob Rolsky, former Unit Production Manager for NBC series Chicago P.D., will be leading this pilot as UPM. Rolsky served as UPM for a whopping 80 episodes of the beloved #OneChicago series.

There are more updates ahead for Deli Boys, and we expect to have them for you here as the October 24th filming start date approaches.
