11 Dollar Bill has welcomed Matt Mooney to its creative team in Boulder. With experience as a cinematographer, editor and motion graphics designer, he will serve as creative lead for advertising, branded content and other projects.
Mooney is well known to 11 Dollar Bill, having collaborated with the studio on several projects over the past two years, including work for JD Sports, Finish Line and Trimble. “We are thrilled to have Matt full time,” says Managing Partner Lisa Effress. “He brings a broad skill set, a creative mind and an infectious energy. His ability to oversee projects from conception through delivery will be a great asset to us and our clients.”
For his part, Mooney is looking forward to tackling challenging projects for diverse clients. “The projects I’ve worked on with 11 Dollar Bill have been demanding and fun,” he says. “I’ve always been interested in fashion, so working on projects for a high-end sports retailer like JD Sports was a great opportunity for me.” Among other things, Mooney was involved in a campaign supporting the launch of JD Sports’ flagship store in Manhattan that included video content displayed on 30-foot monitors and multiple billboards in Times Square.

Mooney got his start in music videos as co-founder of 1of1 Limited. He directed, edited and filmed videos for individual artists, including Yasi and Kickraux, as well as larger organizations such as Dim Mak Records and Universal Music Group. He also directed the reality series LUXE for well-known streamers on the Twitch.TV platform, as well as documentary work for CrossFit Inc. More recently, he has focused on advertising, working as an editor and motion artist on campaigns for REMAX Premier Group, Spring, Fuller Real Estate and the City of Tallahassee.
