Laughlin Constable Named Travel Wisconsin Agency of Record
A Milwaukee-based award-winning agency is welcoming the Wisconsin Department of Tourism back home. Laughlin Constable, the independent, full-service agency, has been named the full-service creative and media agency of record for Travel Wisconsin, Wisconsin’s Department of Tourism.
LC was awarded the business following a competitive review that included agencies from the Midwest and across the country. LC and Travel Wisconsin have had a long, storied history of partnership together over the years, with the agency serving as its AOR from 2009 to 2019 and prior to that from 1985 to 1999.
The state of Wisconsin has been “having a moment,” as its economy is experiencing significant growth, and back-to-back record years for tourism’s economic impact reinforce the industry’s importance to the state. Over the past year, the state has been welcoming major national political, sporting and cultural events.
“The Travel Wisconsin business is in our DNA. So, to say we’re all excited for it to come back home to LC is a massive understatement,” said Anthony Romano, CEO of Laughlin Constable. “Our roots in Wisconsin run 48- years deep and, we believe, our understanding of what makes this state truly special is unmatched. We can’t wait to help take the state into its next big chapter of growth.”
The agency will partner with Travel Wisconsin to lead its brand strategy and creative work, social media content, paid media planning and buying, and marketing program activations.
LC recently won the industry’s prestigious Ad Age 2024 Small Agency of the Year Award, following a string of new business wins and industry awards for creativity, media, content production and effectiveness.
