Jennifer Reeder Answers Five Questions

Jennifer Reeder’s psychological thriller KNIVES AND SKIN has received raves throughout its prolific festival run, which included a World Premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, and American Premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. Before the feature opens at the Music Box this Friday, Jennifer stopped by for Five Questions with SCREEN.

SCREEN: What can people look forward to when they head to Music Box Theater to see KNIVES AND SKIN?

JENNIFER: I like to fast forward to the cosplay sing-a-long screenings of this film. I want audiences to lean WAY into KNIVES AND SKIN… laugh, sob, gasp, wince… there is something in there for EVERYONE!

SCREEN: Speaking of SKIN… if you could only keep one tattoo, which one would you keep?

JENNIFER: The one across my chest that says MOTHER.

SCREEN: Your go-to karaoke song?

JENNIFER: Cry Me A River by Justin Timberlake. I cannot sing but I have tremendous stage presence which this song in particular lends well to.

SCREEN: Worst job you’ve ever had?

JENNIFER: I portrayed Rocker Barbie on a float for a Secret Santa Parade.

SCREEN: If you could appoint ANYONE to be President of the United States, who would it be?

JENNIFER: Obama…..mostly because i miss Michelle.

SCREEN: What are you looking forward to in 2020?

JENNIFER: I am in development with a new feature length film, so I am looking forward to moving the script into production.

SCREEN: Favorite guilty pleasure TV show?

JENNIFER: Rockford Files.
