Scofield Digital Storytelling has announced the addition of Lindsay D. Mitchell as video director, cinematographer, and editor. The hiring of Mitchell demonstrates a continued investment in video resources, including personnel, systems and equipment. This investment allows the firm to meet the growing needs of clients and remain an innovative leader in video production, motion graphics, and animation, among other areas.
“Lindsay is a strong addition to our team,” said Ross Woods, managing director of Scofield Digital Storytelling. “I’ve known her for many years, and I am continually impressed with her work and the experience and unique aesthetic she brings to each project.”
Mitchell brings 15 years of experience in the video, film, and entertainment industries to Scofield Digital Storytelling, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in telecommunication from Ball State University. She has worked with leading Midwest marketing agencies, production companies, feature films, and a nationally televised entertainment project for Discovery Channel. Mitchell’s skillset is broad, but her role will focus primarily on filming and editing.
Mitchell commented, “I was first inspired to pursue a film career by watching my parents use their VHS camcorder. I later fell in love with computers, discovering that shooting and editing perfectly combined my interests. I thrive on problem-solving and collaboration, and I’m thrilled to join this talented team where I know I’ll be working on an array of high-quality projects for a diverse portfolio of clients.”
