Five Questions with Megan DeMeyer, Group Creative Director at Laughlin Constable
What do Dolly Parton, The Price Is Right and Queen have in common? They’re all right here as Megan DeMeyer, Group Creative Director at Laughlin Constable stops by for a thoroughly entertaining round of Five Questions with SCREEN. Let’s get to it!
SCREEN: If you could appoint ANYONE to be the next President of the United States, who would it be and why?
MEGAN: I feel like this is a trick question. It’s arguably the hardest job in the world but I think there’s one person we would all agree on – Dolly Parton.
SCREEN: What are you looking forward to in the second half of 2026?
MEGAN: Work-wise I’m incredibly excited for our summer campaign for QuikTrip to launch. It’ll make us all want to lean into those chill summer moments. Personally, I’m looking forward to my own steady diet of hot dogs and cheeseburgers that summer brings.
SCREEN: Most famous person you’ve ever met?
MEGAN: I’ve worked with a few celebrities and famous directors, but the most “famous” person I’ve met in my book was Brandi Chastain not long after she scored the winning goal in the 1999 Women’s World Cup. Legend.
Let’s relive that iconic goal right here…
SCREEN: Your favorite project you’ve ever worked on?
MEGAN: This is like asking me to choose my favorite child! A project that stands out as something I’m immensely proud of is the long-running Northwestern Medicine Better Campaign. I’ve been part of it from the beginning, and nearly 10 years later it still carries momentum because of the powerful, inspiring patient stories we’re able to tell.
SCREEN: If you could a contestant on any game show or reality TV show in TV history, what would it be?
MEGAN: The Price is Right. Between sick days as a kid and summer boredom, I’ve probably logged over 300 hours watching that show. Cars are just a lot more expensive now.
BONUS QUESTIONS!
SCREEN: What was your Best Vacation Ever?
MEGAN: My husband and I went to Banff, Canada for our 10-year anniversary last year and I still think about it every day.
SCREEN: You’ve been chosen for the new season of Shark Tank. What are you pitching to the Sharks?
MEGAN: Some sort of eye cream that mimics 9 hours of sleep. None exist, I’ve tried them all.
SCREEN: Best advice you’ve ever been given?
MEGAN: After having my first baby, on my first day returning to work, my mom wisely told me, “Don’t let your fear be bigger than your faith.” With so much fear of failure and imposter syndrome that we – especially women – struggle with, it’s so important to not only follow our instincts and have confidence in what we’re doing, but to surround ourselves with people who encourage us to think and operate that way.
