Five Questions with Grey Midwest CCO Adam Kahn

What do Lady Gaga, Sesame Street and the oldest steakhouse in NYC have in common? They’re all right here as Cincinnati-based Grey Midwest’s Chief Creative Office Adam Kahn stops by for a thoroughly entertaining round of Five Questions with SCREEN. Let’s get to it!

SCREEN: Ok Adam, what’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

ADAM: Never lose the craft that got you into this industry.

SCREEN: Most famous person you’ve met?

ADAM: Lady Gaga and have the picture to prove it.

And so of course we asked Adam for the photo… and here it is!

SCREEN: One restaurant, one meal, anywhere you want, and we’re buying. What will it be?

ADAM: Old Homestead Steakhouse in NYC. After I sold in my first campaign at Grey NY in 2006 I took my best friend and me out to dinner to thank him for introducing me to the Ad Industry. That meal/place always reminds me of friendship and achievement and to never forget where you came from.

Here’s a fun Super Bowl-style dive into the storied steakhouse…

SCREEN: What is your most prized possession?

ADAM: My Family.

SCREEN: Favorite project ever (not produced by you and your team)?

ADAM: “The Social Imprint” with Verizon and Christian Siriano.

Let’s take a look at this ambitious and inventive fashion endeavor…

BONUS QUESTIONS!

SCREEN: Favorite American City? International City?

ADAM: NYC / Paris

SCREEN: What’s your go-to Karaoke song?

ADAM: Tequila 😉

Haha ok we hear you, Adam. Well, here’s a guy that shares your ambition with karaoke – on America’s Got Talent, no less – enjoy…

SCREEN: Worst job ever?

ADAM: When I was a kid, I got paid to dress up as Sesame Street characters at kid birthday parties.
