Sean Fahey’s ‘For Kicks’ Premieres At 11th Urban Action Film Fest in NYC

Get ready to kick off an unforgettable cinematic experience as Sean Fahey’s For Kicks makes its grand entrance at the 11th Urban Action Film Festival in the heart of NYC! The spotlight is on Eugene Thomas, the 67-year-old action-star-turned-jazz-enthusiast, whose journey in martial arts cinema is nothing short of legendary.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Enter the stage, the one and only Ron van Clief, The Black Dragon, a martial arts action star and icon at 80, who holds the record as the oldest fighter to enter the Octagon in UFC 4. This dynamic duo, along with other action stars, promises an evening of celebration, inspiration, and a whole lot of high kicks!

For Kicks started its festival run as the closing night film of the 30th Chicago Underground Film Festival and won Best Documentary at the Arizona Underground Film Festival, and has been making a splash at festivals around the country. 

Regarding USAE11, Fahey expressed his anticipation, stating, “Urban Action Showcase only screens one documentary each year, so this is a huge honor, and we can’t wait to celebrate in NYC with you all!”

This extraordinary premiere is set to take place at the Urban Action Showcase Expo and Film Festival in Times Square on Saturday, November 11th, at 4:00 PM.

The festival, dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry, will host filmmakers and writers from around the world, screening over 50 hours of content across 5 theaters.
