Favorite commercial, the best advice ever, and your most prized possession? Current Global’s Executive Creative Director Chuck Rachford stopped by to share the answers to those all-important questions in a thoroughly entertaining round of Five Questions with SCREEN. Let’s get to it!
SCREEN: All right, Chuck, we gotta know… what’s your favorite commercial ever?
CHUCK: “Prosperous Stroll” by Little Caesars. They found a product benefit and turned it into a memorable story. So over-the-top and goofy and still laugh-out-loud funny today.
SCREEN: What’s that TV show you’re a little embarrassed to admit you love to watch?
CHUCK: Love is Blind (although I’ve done enough embarrassing things at this point that this barely registers). I love the show because the basic premise “Is love blind?” turns out to be: no.
Here is the a teaser from the show… you might want to add this one to your holiday watchlist…
SCREEN: What is your most prized possession?
CHUCK: Original DVD recording of Tommy Bishop’s dramatic story arc as “Tough Drifter In Cheap Leather Jacket” on Guiding Light.
SCREEN: Most famous person you’ve ever met?
CHUCK: The aforementioned Tommy Bishop. He now runs an editing company in town that rhymes with “Butters.”
SCREEN: Best advice you’ve ever been given?
CHUCK: Keep Writing.
