CineYouth Film Festival

CineYouth is the Chicago International Film Festival’s yearly film festival that showcases short films made by filmmakers 22 years old and younger from around the world. CineYouth encourages the talent of young filmmakers and supports diverse youth voices by providing opportunities to have their work showcased, to learn about filmmaking from industry experts, and to network with peers. CineYouth 2021 will offer free film screenings, virtual filmmaking workshops, live filmmaker Q&A’s, and more!

While the 2020 edition of CineYouth was postponed, those films will be featured in 2021 and join a new selection of work from the past year for a week-long virtual event, May 6-13, 2021!

Select award-winning CineYouth films will be screened at the 57th Chicago International Film Festival at the CineYouth "Best of the Fest" screening (October 2021).

The Oak Cliff Film Festival was established in 2012 as a regional film festival in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas. The festival has received national acclaim from prominent sources including The New York Times, Filmmaker Magazine, and Moviemaker Magazine, as a festival that aims to showcase brave and independent filmmaking of all stripes in an atmosphere that encourages and fosters filmmaking in Dallas and beyond.
