The East Lansing Film Festival will celebrate its 23rd year of showcasing independent films from around the world. ELFF presents 3 extensive short film programs, plus features and documentaries. The festival features parties, an all-day hospitality room with delicious food and drinks and a seminar. We invite directors to attend the film festival and hold Q & As with the audiences. Past visiting directors have included Michael Moore, Oliver Stone and Bruce Campbell.
The Lake Michigan Film Competition (LMFC) ran concurrently as a part of ELFF t is now a film festival of its own with the new name Lake Michigan Film Festival (LMFF). If the film you are submitting is from the four states, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, it qualifies for the LMFF, and for the cash awards for the Best Feature, Documentary, Short or Student Film. The LMFF is the most competitive festival for films from these states and is a great opportunity for your film.
