Chicago Critics Film Festival

The Chicago Film Critics Association (CFCA), the Chicago-area print, online and broadcast critics group that celebrates the art of film and film criticism, today announces the complete lineup, schedule and special guests expected for the eighth Chicago Critics Film Festival, November 12-14 at Chicago’s historic Music Box Theatre. The festival opens with the Chicago premiere of Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut, The Lost Daughter, starring Olivia Colman, Dakota Johnson, Jessie Buckley and Peter Sarsgaard. The weekend-long festival will close with Sean Baker’s acclaimed Red Rocket, starring Simon Rex as a washed-up entertainer who returns to his Texas hometown.
