Charles Barkley, Baby Gap, and Jersey Shore? It’s all here as we open 2021 with Five Questions with Keith Jamerson. Keith serves as Executive Producer at the Richmond, Virginia-based Arts and Letters Creative Company, leading a team producing work for clients the likes of ESPN and Google. Keith spent the past decade in Chicago as an Executive Producer for DDB and Producer with Leo Burnett. Let’s get to the questions!

SCREEN: Of course we have to ask: What’s your New Years Resolution for 2021?

KEITH: To spend more time connecting with people. Family, friends, colleagues, and many awesome people that I’ve yet to meet.

SCREEN: Worst job ever?

KEITH: Baby Gap. I remember one day I spent two hours making this display look absolutely perfect! It took a toddler 2 minutes to destroy the entire thing, and I had to smile while watching this happen.

SCREEN: Most famous person you’ve ever met?

KEITH: I worked on a round of the Capital One NCAA Basketball Final Four Campaign with Spike Lee, Samuel L Jackson, and Charles Barkley. Doesn’t get more famous than that trio.

SCREEN: Best advice you’ve ever been given?

KEITH: You can’t score if you don’t shoot. Heard this gem while playing a pick up game in high school and it’s stuck with me ever since.

SCREEN: What has been your favorite “stay-at-home” activity over the past few months?

KEITH: I’ve now had the time to get back into video games, which I enjoy. It felt impossible to find enough time to play regularly prior to this year.

BONUS QUESTIONS!

SCREEN: Your greatest athletic achievement?

KEITH: I was a hammer thrower in college, and my Freshman year I qualified for USATF Junior Nationals, putting me among the top throwers in the country for my age range. It was all downhill from there.

SCREEN: What’s that TV show you’re a little embarrassed to admit you love to watch?

KEITH: My wife and I have been getting back into some older shows. Jersey Shore has made its way into the rotation pretty heavily. Tough to describe exactly why I enjoy it, it’s just really fun to watch.
