Dermot Mulroney Leaving ‘Chicago Fire’ in Season 15
/
Firehouse 51 is getting ready for another departure. Dermot Mulroney, known to the OneChicago Universe as Chief Dom Pascal, is making his official exit from ‘Chicago Fire’ this upcoming season. According to Deadline, his character’s storyline will wrap up “early in season 15”.
News of his exit isn’t quite as shocking as that of other characters as he took a hiatus during the second half of Season 14. It was never made clear how long his hiatus would last or if he would even return to the fire drama. Mulroney then appeared in the season finale where his character discussed Kelly Severide’s (Taylor Kinney) future options with him. ChiHards were first introduced to Mulroney’s character, Chief Dom Pascal, in Season 13 when he stepped in to replace Chief Wallace Boden, played by Eamonn Walker.
This recent news of Mulroney’s exit from the Wolf Entertainment drama comes just days after news broke that another fan favorite, Joe Miñoso, is leaving the show. Miñoso, who stars as Joe Cruz, is one of four remaining members from the original cast. He will leave early on this upcoming season which premieres October 7.
