Chicago Screenwriter Eric Anderson Lands Fourth Consecutive Grey List Honor as ‘June’ Moves Into Packaging with Collin Schiffli
Screenwriter Eric Anderson’s WWII horror script ‘Wolves’ has been named to the 2026 Grey List, marking his fourth consecutive year with a project recognized on the curated industry list (Oriole Park, June, The Lot, and now Wolves).
‘Wolves’ is a survival-horror thriller set in 1944. It follows a Nazi death squad investigating a vanished battalion in the Hürtgen Forest, only to be systematically hunted by Romani shapeshifters. Described as “Fury meets The Descent,” the story reimagines the werewolf as a karmic mirror for war criminals who have already lost their humanity.
At the same time, Anderson’s resurrection horror ‘June’—a 2024 Grey List selection—is moving into active packaging. The project has attached director Collin Schiffli (Animals, Die in a Gunfight) to helm, with veteran producer Sonny Mallhi (The Strangers, The Dark and the Wicked) producing.
The Corn Bred Films slate also includes the coming-of-age thriller ‘Oriole Park’, which is also in development with Mallhi and director Jordan Galland (Ava’s Possessions), and the horror-comedy ‘The Lot’, a Pythonesque riff on ’Salem’s Lot‘.
Anderson, who is based in Chicago, continues to develop projects with his wife, Amelia Dellos, under their Corn Bred Films banner.
