Chicago Premiere of ‘Ghosts of the Void’ Coming Up July 31st

July 31st marks the Chicago Premiere of “Ghosts of the Void,” a psychological thriller written and directed by Jason Miller and produced by Mike D. Ware, Seth Savoy, and Tony Kamin of Speakeasy Pictures. The premiere is being presented by The Midwest Film Festival on July 31st at 6:30 pm at the Gene Siskel Film Center.

The film follows the gripping tale of a newly-homeless woman. Plagued by exhaustion, a crumbling marriage, and the enigmatic presence of masked strangers, her journey takes a chilling turn. Prepare to question the boundaries between reality and nightmare as “Ghosts of the Void” challenges the essence of the American dream while exploring the fears and struggles that haunt those striving to fulfill their aspirations. Starring Michael Reagan and Tedra Millan, this Midwestern Production is supported by Chicago Media Angels, Prysm Studios, Noisefloor, Camera Ambassador, O’Connor Casting, and Invisible Landscapes. The Midwest Film Festival screens their programs on the last Monday of each month. Alongside several nights of spectacular short films in 2023, this event marks the third feature film making its Chicago Premiere that the Festival has had the privilege of hosting.

The evening’s schedule will consist of a 6:30pm NETWORKING RECEPTION followed by the SCREENING, FILMMAKER Q&A, and AFTER PARTY. Tickets for the event are $15 for general admission, and $7 for Gene Siskel Film Center members.
