Chicago Med Season 11 to Miss One of Its Original Cast Members
ChiHards are counting down the days until the OneChicago shows make their fall premieres, but one of the dramas will be returning this season without one of its leading ladies.
Marlyne Barrett, who stars as Chicago Med‘s lead charge nurse Maggie Lockwood, will not appear on the season. According to Deadline, Barrett, who is one of the last original cast members still on the show, is “stepping back for personal reasons”.

Her absence means Chicago Med is left with just two of its original cast members: S. Epatha Merkerson who plays Sharon Goodwin and Oliver Platt who stars as Dr. Daniel Charles.
Season 11 of Chicago Med is now filming and premieres October 1st on NBC.
