‘Chicago Fire’ Season 11 Wraps Filming in Chicago This Week

The most popular show on NBC is wrapping up production on Season 11. Sources tell SCREEN the beloved Dick Wolf series will finish up filming in Chicago this week, likely on Thursday, May 4th.

Despite a sea of uncertainty in Hollywood as the Writers Strike is now underway, Chicago Fire fans can head into the “off-season” knowing that Fire will return for Season 12, with NBC issuing a season renewal last month.

When will Season Twelve begin filming? That start date will remain uncertain as WGA writers battle for better pay in the weeks, and possibly months, ahead. That being said, a swift resolution of the strike would lead to Fire targeting a mid-Summer start for production on the new season.
