Anime Artist Ringo Hits Orlando This August for Her First-Ever Florida Show

Get ready, Florida anime fans: artist Ringo is officially heading south for her Sunshine State debut at Animate! Orlando. Running August 14–16 at the Orange County Convention Center, the convention marks the first time local fans can catch Ringo’s celebrated portfolio in person.

Over the past decade, Ringo has built a loyal following in the artist alley circuit, known best for her comforting, “slice-of-life” anime aesthetic. In a convention hall usually packed with high-octane energy, Ringo’s booth offers a completely different vibe, a place to slow down and appreciate the simple stuff.

“Rooted in my passion for slow living, the warmth of slice-of-life anime, and the profound beauty of the world, I create delicate anime-inspired art that celebrates simple pleasures and the wonders surrounding us,” Ringo says. “I aspire to spark joy in others and urge them to discover delight in the minutiae and the big picture. With creativity and a desire to inspire happiness, amazing things can happen.”

Florida Sports, Anime Style

To celebrate ten years of creating art and making her first Florida trip, Ringo is dropping an exclusive set of original character designs customized just for local sports fans.

Anime fans and sports heads alike can check out her unique anime spin on three home-state favorites:

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers: A powerhouse character packed with football energy.
  • Tampa Bay Rays: A sleek, vibrant baseball-inspired design.
  • Orlando Magic: A dynamic original character repping the local hardwood.

Ten Years in the Making

Whether you’ve been following her work for years or are just discovering her “slow living” style for the first time, Ringo’s table is a must-visit spot on the floor. Alongside her new sports prints, she’ll have a full booth stocked with the signature original prints, illustrations, and art pieces that have defined her last decade as an independent creator.
