Andrea Mandel Answers Five Questions with SCREEN

What do Michael Jordan, Jennifer Aniston, and a trip to the Grand Canyon have in common? They’re all right here as award-winning director on the Quriosity Productions roster Andrea Mandel stopped by to answer Five Questions with SCREEN. Let’s get to it!

SCREEN: What is your go-to dish that you bring to any Thanksgiving dinner festivities?

ANDREA: Salad! Any tine anyone asks me to bring something they always ask for my famous chopped salad. I love it because I don’t eat meat so I know there will always be something for me to eat.

SCREEN: Most famous person you’ve ever met?

ANDREA: Muhammad Ali and Mike Jordan. My husband and I were very lucky to photograph them the first time they met, for Chevrolet.

SCREEN: Your greatest athletic achievement?

ANDREA: When my best friend turned 50, we decided to do a rim of the Grand Canyon in a day! Major accomplishment.

SCREEN: What actor would you cast to play you in the studio movie of your life?

ANDREA: Jennifer Aniston.

SCREEN: What’s that TV show you’re a little embarrassed to admit you love to watch?

ANDREA: Virgin River. Very sappy and romantic.

SCREEN: Worst job ever?

ANDREA: When I worked as a bagger at the grocery store.

SCREEN: What is your biggest fear?

ANDREA: Heights!

SCREEN: What’s inspiring you today?

ANDREA: Travel. I love to travel and next week I am leaving for two weeks and going to Africa to trek with the gorillas.
