Peacock Thriller Series ‘All Her Fault’ Filming in Chicago, Led by ‘Succession’ Alum Sarah Snook

A new Peacock series has been filming in Chicago this month, but don’t get too excited just yet. All Her Fault is a thriller series led by Emmy winner Sarah Snook, in her first TV starring role since the ending of Succession. Yes, the series has been filming in Chicago this month, but no, it is not a long term stay. The series has been in the Windy City lensing some exterior shots downtown and around Chicago for a handful of shooting days, and is primarily filmed in Australia, Snook’s home country. Nevertheless, it’s nice to have a new series in town, if only for a brief stint, and who knows what future seasons may hold.

The official logline for the series states, “Marissa Irvine (played by Snook) arrives at 14 Arthur Avenue, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognizes. She isn’t the nanny. She doesn’t have Milo. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.” The show is based on the novel of the same name by Andrea Mara.

The cast also includes Dakota Fanning, The Bear star Abby Elliott, Jake Lacy, Sophia Lillis, Jay Ellis, Thomas Cocquerel, Daniel Monks, Duke McCloud, Kartiah Vergara, and Michael Peña.

For her portrayal of Shiv Roy on Succession, Snook earned an Emmy Award in 2023, and also won two Golden Globe Awards for the show. Succession wrapped up its run at HBO after four seasons in 2023.

Snook’s other television credits include Black Mirror, The Secret River, and All Saints. In film, she has starred in features such as Steve Jobs, Pieces of a Woman, and The Glass Castle.

Megan Gallagher is adapting All Her Fault for the screen and will serve as executive producer. Snook will executive produce in addition to starring. Minkie Spiro will direct multiple episodes and executive produce. Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame and Joanna Strevens of Carnival Films also executive produce, as do Jennifer Gabler Rawlings and Christine A. Sacani. Terry Gould will produce, with Mara serving as associate producer. Universal International Studio is producing the series.
