‘A Series About a Series’ Goes Out With Style

Sonny Kruger’s Chicago-based web series “A Series About A Series” premiered its final episode and went out in style.

What started out as a story written by one man has turned into a series with many of Illinois’ best and brightest upcoming stars showcasing their talents to the world in this dramedy filmed and set in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Now, the show is complete and available to watch in its entirety.

“I can honestly say that this story has made me a better person, and I know it will help others as well,” said Kruger. In the series, writer Buck Banderas is working towards making a pilot episode for his show “The Hitman’s Lover” and has met a multitude of characters from different backgrounds that have forced him to grow as a person.

With issues like suicide and transphobia being tackled in the show, audiences have come to know that “A Series About A Series” is definitely a show that takes chances and makes big statements with every episode, earning the drama in Dramedy. The quirky characters quickly brought the laughs and comedy into it, earning the show Best Comedy at the Nicomedia Film Awards. With its memorable opening line to its heartfelt final scene in episode three, the finale had a lot to live up to, and it didn’t disappoint, as it blew its viewers away in epic fashion.

Episode 4: Finale hit YouTube in September and concluded the story with Chicago-style heart and soul. Let’s take a look at the finale…

The over-seventy-minute-long episode had the classic traits of the first three episodes, with some classic and unique filmmaking methods used in the filming, along with stand-out scenes, performances, and rockin’ music, but had a bit more of everything to bring the show to its conclusion. Sonny Kruger believes endings are huge and should satisfy viewers enough to make them not only want to talk about it, but watch it all over again, and he achieved that with the finale of “A Series About A Series”. All four episodes are available to watch on YouTube now.
