We Have the Answer! Will Robert Pattinson, Colin Farrell Be in Chicago?
So the question Robert Pattinson and Colin Farrell fans might be asking right now is... who's coming to the Windy City this week? Will Pattinson, Farrell, and the ensuing throngs of adoring fans be descending upon downtown Chicago for this two-weekend stint? It looks like the answer is no. Pattinson and Farrell, alongside Zoe Kravitz who is playing Catwoman, are currently filming overseas in the UK in Liverpool and indications are they will be staying put in the UK while the Chicago team is filming.
BATMAN Under Fire in the UK Amid Local Protest?
Daily Mail reports the DC blockbuster is receiving furious backlash from Liverpool locals as the city became the first in the UK to reach the COVID-19 alert level of 'very high,' meaning pubs and restaurants would close and households are banned from mixing. Despite this highest tier of lockdown, THE BATMAN has permission to film and proceeded with production this week at Liverpool's St George's Hall. More About the Chicago Shoot
THE BATMAN's production team has been busy prepping all week at Keslow Camera, who is providing the extensive large-scale camera gear for this brief but ambitious bout of filming in the Windy City.
Sources tell SCREEN that filming is expected to take place mostly in downtown Chicago, capturing some action-packed scenes with extensive driving sequences and a massive number of cameras in play. While it is a relatively brief shoot, THE BATMAN is bringing a large-scale production that will employ plenty of Chicago and Illinois professionals.
