SCREEN: If you could be a member of any band in music history, what would it be? Why?

LAN: The Animals. Their music and influence feels timeless.

SCREEN: What's your favorite restaurant in Texas? What do we order when we go?

LAN: Jose in Dallas. Order the Park Cities Enchiladas.

SCREEN: What is your greatest fear?

LAN: An inability to learn new things.

SCREEN: What's your go-to karaoke song? Why?

LAN: You mean songs? Violent Femmes - "Add It Up," Weezer - "Say It Ain’t So," Billy Idol - "White Wedding." I’m a collaborator. Those songs always invoke audience participation.

SCREEN: If you could play any superhero in a major motion picture, who would it be? Why?

LAN: I’d play Low-T man, and fight apathy with apathy.

SCREEN: If you could appoint ANYONE to be President of the United States, who would it be?

LAN: I’d give Obama have another crack at it. I believed in his long game.

SCREEN: Best advice you've ever been given?

LAN: Do the best you can with what you’ve got.
