Mouthwatering Foodie Fare from Divisionist Films

Mouthwatering Foodie Fare from Divisionist Films

With most of our restaurant experiences these days being of the takeout and delivery variety, it's the perfect time to take a moment and enjoy some vivid culinary imagery. Here is the latest commercial work from Chicago's Divisionist Films, led by Ethan Talley and Johnny Roches, for Eat Travel Rock:

Eat Travel Rock Productions, helmed by Kelly Rizzo, specializes in cinema-quality social media content for restaurants, hospitality, food & beverage brands, and small business. With that in mind, the creative approach was to capture intriguing food shots that would focus more on the ingredients and preparation of the dishes and cocktails.

"I knew that we would want to have some fun and quirky-looking shots, but wanted to avoid them all looking the same," director Ethan Talley told SCREEN. "It became clear when we arrived at the location and started to film. The entire team kicked their creativity in high gear and came up with unique shots for each piece of food and I’m really proud of their work, especially with the shorter timeline."

And the spot offers a fast-paced and tantalizing montage of foodie fare for those longing to return to their favorite restaurant. "I feel like it’s a fun piece to watch with a lot of neat shots that will keep viewers attention spans tight, regardless of the content being relevant to you or not," Talley added.

What's next for Divisionist Films: They are currently in post on a piece for Federal Moto, the Chicago-based garage that creates one-of-a-kind motorcycles and goods for the everyday adventurer. Other than that, Talley and Roches have been focusing their energy into narrative films and are hoping to start the pre-production process on an upcoming project later this year.
