NBC Pilot ORDINARY JOE Shoots in March

NBC is expected to begin shooting the pilot ORDINARY JOE in Chicago in mid-March. One very notable Executive Producer on the project is Matt Reeves, director of THE BATMAN, the highly anticipated and currently filming reboot starring Robert Pattinson. The pilot is written by HOUSE veterans Russel Friend and Garrett Lerner, and will be directed by Matt Davidson, who is currently an executive producer on NBC’s ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST.

ORDINARY JOE explores the three parallel lives of the show’s main character after he makes a pivotal choice at a crossroads in his life. The series asks the question of how different life might look if you made your decision based on love, loyalty or passion.

Davidson previously directed the pilot for the popular AMC series FEAR THE WALKING DEAD and the opening episode for DirecTV’s KINGDOM. His most recent episodic directing credits include the NBC series BLUFF CITY LAW, AJ AND THE QUEEN, THE ROOKIE and I'M DYING UP HERE, among others.

Additional members of the production team include Unit Production Manager Christian Clarke, Producer Stephen Sassen, and Production Office Coordinator Zach Bradshaw. Executive producers include Adam Kassan and Rafi Crohn, and Howard Klein for 3 Arts Entertainment.
