Natalie Stone Answers Five Questions with SCREEN
December 17, 2019 by Screenmag
What do Baby Yoda, THE PRINCESS BRIDE and a Roomba have in common? Find out as Cutters Producer Natalie Stone stopped by for a round of Five Questions with SCREEN...
SCREEN: Your favorite holiday?
NATALIE: My favorite holiday is Sister Lunch, which is a tradition we invented. The day after Thanksgiving, me, my 4 sisters, and any cousins who are in town go out for a fancy lunch at Cooper's Hawk in Oak Park to catch up, hang out, and update each other on the important stuff in our lives.
SCREEN: If you could appoint ANYONE to be President of the United States, who would it be?
NATALIE: Baby Yoda.
SCREEN: Celebrity crush?
NATALIE: Westley from THE PRINCESS BRIDE, for obvious reasons. Inigo Montoya can also get it.
SCREEN: Favorite gadget?
NATALIE: I'm pretty fond of my Roomba. He's like a dumb little vacuum pet that's also blind and doesn't learn. Adorable.
SCREEN: Worst decision you made in college?
NATALIE: Freshman year I would always take a nap at my dorm before First Year Seminar, which was literally the easiest class on the planet - you just needed to show up and have a pulse. I napped too long and missed class entirely a few times, but it happened enough to affect my grade, and I got my first ever C out of sheer sleepiness. My mom was furious that I got a low grade for such a stupid reason. I was a pretty boring college student, so that's the thing that still annoys me to this day. I should've learned to like caffeine sooner.
SCREEN: Your favorite restaurant in Chicago?
NATALIE: Marmalade on Montrose/Damen. Best brunch I've ever had, and brunch is one of my staple food groups. Definitely get the pancakes or the chilaquiles, and make sure you schedule time for a good nap afterwards.
SCREEN: Any predictions for 2020?
NATALIE: I predict that my frustration, anxiety, and despair in humanity will reach record highs leading up to November 3rd. Then, all my optimism and hope will be restored by November 4th!
