Full-service masterplanning and exhibit design firm Luci Creative is very proud to announce the addition of two new talents to its team. Luci's Executive Director AJ Goehle announced that the company is adding Creative Strategist Sarah Ingraham and Junior Exhibit Designer Angelica Guzman, effective immediately.
Ingraham joins Luci from one of the firm's top clients: the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. Ingraham has served as MSI Chicago's Senior Coordinator/Researcher since 2014, leading content development for the exhibitions Extreme Ice and Materials Science - as well as the Turn Back the Clock exhibit designed in partnership with Luci Creative, which explored the 70-year history of the famous Doomsday Clock. Ingraham was also a core creative team member behind Future Energy Chicago, winner of numerous accolades including the ASTC Leading Edge Award for Visitor Experience, and a Gold MUSE Award for Games and Augmented Reality.
"Luci has an amazing team of creative people who are thoughtful in how they work with clients to realize their projects, and I'm looking forward to being a part of that," Ingraham said. "With my multi-disciplinary background in history, theater, and science, I am also excited for the creative challenges posed by the wide range of projects - both in scale and topic - that Luci takes on."
Guzman was most recently a Design Assistant for award-winning multi-disciplinary design firm DWDW. Her unique perspective adds depth to Luci's capabilities with her degree from Columbia College in Chicago and specializations in interior architecture and set design. Her professional experience includes working as a set designer, an Etsy store proprietor for her DIY furniture rehab projects and vintage finds, and an Exhibition Design Intern for The Field Museum. These experiences have been pivotal in igniting her passion for phenomenal museum design.
"What attracted me to Luci was the company's approach to design that doesn't focus on a set style but instead focuses on serving the story and experience that an exhibit is trying to convey," Guzman explained. "In school, I always had one foot in design and another in storytelling... and Luci is the perfect marriage of those interests. I love that they are doing innovative work all across the country."
"We've had many opportunities to work with and get to know Sarah over the past several years," Goehle added. "Having her on our team is an honor for us all. We also are delighted to bring Angelica on board - her enthusiasm and ideas are already adding invaluable dimensions."
