In the latest installment of our popular weekly feature, writer-director Haroula Rose, whose pilot LOST & FOUND screens at the Midwest Independent Film Festival tonight before heading to the prestigious New York Television Festival (NYTVF) in October, answers Five Questions with SCREEN.
SCREEN: So tell us a little about your new pilot, LOST & FOUND, that we will see in Chicago tonight before it heads to NYTVF?
HAROULA: It's a dynamic ensemble cast, a complicated premise about a divorce and how to do so amicably, and so are introduced through this un-wedding ceremony to a whole world of characters and storylines that could go on for a while.
SCREEN: Best summer vacation ever?
HAROULA: Greece... kind of anytime
SCREEN: Best thing you ever ate?
HAROULA: Polenta in Bergamo, Italy, in an old villa.
SCREEN: Worst job you’ve ever had?
HAROULA: Doing some kind of data analysis at a company I didn't understand... I quit after a week
SCREEN: Best advice you’ve ever been given?
HAROULA: Do it now, don't procrastinate. Whatever the "it" is.
SCREEN: Your go-to karaoke song?
HAROULA: "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" by Pat Benatar because it's fun and short :)
SCREEN: Favorite guilty pleasure TV show?
HAROULA: I like Ozark a LOT at the moment
