Havas Media Wins Michelin

Havas Media's Chicago office will be handling Michelin's U.S. business, after the tire-maker selected the agency as its new global agency of record following a review.

It's a major win for Havas, which took the $100 million account from incumbent agency MEC in a three-way pitch.

“We are confident that Havas Media will help Michelin further its journey with a marketing approach based on data-driven and content-powered strategies, increasing our knowledge of the consumer journey helping us master communications in the digital age,” said evp of sustainable development, brands and external records Claire Dorland Clauzel, who is also a member of the company’s group executive committee.

Moving forward, Havas Media will work with TBWAChiatDay, which will retain it's position as Michelin’s global creative agency of record.
