Beyond the Spot: Christine Dudley
May 26, 2016 by Screenmag
In the latest installment of our popular feature, Christine Dudley, director of the Illinois Film Office, talks about growing up with the creative arts and the role of the Film Office in attracting work to the city and state.
Dudley attended Indiana University-Bloomington where she first studied theater and then transferred to political science.
"I decided to move into the political science department for many reasons," said Dudley. "I combined the two sides of my brain very effectively in prep for this role almost forty years later."
Shortly after taking on the position at the Film Office, Dudley answered Five Questions with SCREEN. She also spoke to the Midwest Independent Film Festival about the role of the Illinois Film Tax Credit.
