Paramore's LAST HOPE a Hit

Chicago-based post house Coat of Arms has a hit on its hands, having recently completed post on the Official Live Video for Paramore's new song "Last Hope." In less than four days the video topped 1 million views and over 25,000 likes on YouTube and both numbers continue to rise steadily.

The nine-camera shoot took place during the Chicago stop on the band’s MOMENTOUR and was directed by Chicago-native-now-LA-resident Michael Thelin for music label Fueled By Ramen, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group. Thelin is a regular in the music scene, directing shows like "The Live Room" for Warner Music and having helmed numerous music videos, while working with musicians the likes of Jason Mraz, Cee-Lo Green and Bruno Mars.

Coat of Arms owner and editor Jonathan Lacocque commented on his long-time partnership with Thelin: “Michael, a frequent client and collaborator, reached out to us for help with post and we jumped at the opportunity. We've done at least 20 music-related projects, as well as several narrative projects with him. It was a rare opportunity to work together in person since he left Chicago for Los Angeles years back. There was a quick turnaround, which resulted in our assistant editor on the project [Michael Heffler] working one day to pull selects, then I edited and Color-Corrected the whole video in a second day. “
